Dear Parents and Guardians,
Allison’s Infant & Toddler Center will be continue to be closed through the executive ordered issued by Governor J.B. Pritizker Tuesday, due to the COVID-19 virus. It is possible that school will be closed throughout the month of April and possibly May.
In order to ensure students still receive instruction over the closure, we have asked teachers to provide instructional materials via email, and the website. Teachers are providing assignments and electronic lesson plans will be available via our website, teaching strategies gold links, and our Allison’s app that can be downloaded at the app store or the google play store.
The centers will be closed to all parents, students, visitors, and staff. Teachers and administrators will be available by email. A directory of staff can be found at allisonsinfantandtoddlercenter.org. An administrator will be available by phone at (773) 840-4502 from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
At this point it is no longer safe for me or the staff to continue to drop off supplies throughout the city. A link to the Chicago Food depository is available on our website they have locations around the city for daily food distribution.
The number of infected continues to rise as does the death toll. Please heed the advice of our Mayor and Governor and only go outside when truly necessary. Do not allow visitors in your home; please shelter in place.
